A first edit, ready to tweak

Hand over the raw recording and you get back a first edit for Adobe Premiere (Premiere Pro). It comes as an editable timeline, not a flat video file. It also tells you how long the video was before and after, like 14:32 down to 9:48. It’s a first pass for you to check and tweak, not a finished video.

Long pauses come out, but a little breathing room is left either side, so it doesn’t feel rushed. You choose how much.

Filler words like “um” and “uh” are cut out, so you sound sharper without filming it again.

Every good take, ready to pick

Fluffed a line and went again? It cuts the takes where you slipped up and keeps all the good ones together. Watch them, star your favourite and delete the rest. Check it marked the right takes.

Jump zooms on key moments

On key moments and on cuts, the shot jumps in a little closer, to about 110 to 120%, right on the word that matters. Each zoom is centred between your eyes, so your face stays in the same spot.

Slow push-ins on long sentences

On important long sentences, the shot slowly moves in closer. It can follow your face as it goes or push straight in, and you can switch push-ins off.

B-roll on its own track

B-roll means the shots that play over you talking. It goes on its own track, so it’s easy to swap or delete. It uses your own footage first, then stock clips, either from free sites such as Pixabay and Pexels or from a premium stock library for higher-quality footage. Check any stock clips before you publish.

Every cut gets a marker, a small flag on the timeline. Skip from one marker to the next to check each cut. You can change or undo any cut, zoom or clip. It’s made for Premiere first, and DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro versions can be built to order.
